Cookies

Beautrix · Last updated: 10 September 2026

We use as few as we can get away with. There is no cookie banner on Beautrix because we do not set anything that requires your consent — and that is a design decision we would like to keep.

What we set

What	What it does	How long
Sign-in session	Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you would sign in again on every click.	Until you sign out, or 30 days
Security token	Checks that a form submission came from our page and not from somebody else's.	The length of the visit
Your preferences	Small things you have chosen — which section of Set-up you had open, a filter, a half-typed draft. Stored in your browser, never sent to us.	Until you clear your browser data
Anti-spam check	On the public booking form only. Cloudflare Turnstile, to stop bots filling artists' diaries with fake appointments.	The length of the visit

What we do not set

No advertising cookies. No retargeting pixels. No Meta pixel, no Google Ads tag.
No third-party analytics that follow you across other websites.
Nothing that builds a profile of you, and nothing sold or passed to advertisers.

Every one of these is strictly necessary — the page does not work without it — so none of them needs your consent, and that is why there is no cookie banner.

Everything else on the list is needed for Beautrix to function. If you block those, you will not be able to sign in.

Instagram images

If an artist has connected her Instagram, her booking page shows her recent posts. Those images are served from Meta's servers, which means Meta can see that a browser requested them, along with the usual things a web server sees. We do not control that and we cannot switch it off from our side. Meta's privacy policy governs it. Nothing is sent to Meta about who you are, and we do not run any Meta tracking code.

Your browser

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. On Beautrix that means you will not be able to stay signed in.
